About

The University of Birmingham

The University of Birmingham’s leafy Edgbaston campus is home to a diverse cultural offer with free admission to public museums, galleries, archives, libraries and cultural venues.

The University is very proud of its five independently-managed museum structures, which together provide a breadth and diversity ranging from public museums to small, specialist research collections:  –

  • The Barber Institute of Fine Arts
  • The Lapworth Museum of Geology
  • Winterbourne House & Garden
  • Cadbury Research Library
  • Research & Cultural Collections

The University’s Culture team work to establish and grow partnerships and collaborations with cultural organisations, museums, businesses, and universities on a regional, national and international level, whilst engaging fully with staff, students, researchers, partners, and the community.
